Pier 400 Corridor Storage Tracks Expansion – Los Angeles, CA
Summit Environmental Contractors was awarded a contract by Herzog / Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. to perform environmental training, consulting and contracting services for hazardous materials at The Port of Los Angeles. The planned construction for the project includes an extension to the existing rail bridge, five new railroad storage tracks, an asphalt access roadway, new crossovers and switches, as well as modifications to the existing compressed air system of the Pier 400 rail storage yard and bridge.
Prior to construction Summit will perform the following services:
- Plan Preparation – (HaSP & SAP)
- Health and Safety Training
- Material Sampling, Testing and Characterization
- Waste Profiling and Manifesting
- Transportation and Waste Disposal Services
Summit’s goal is to seamlessly integrate environmental services for public works infrastructure projects allowing the progression of our highways, ports and railroads to continue smoothly as we help create safer environments for both workers and the general public.
