Orangethorpe Grade Separation – Anaheim, CA

Summit provided environmental consulting and contracting services as part of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Orangethorpe Avenue Grade Separation project. The project consisted of raising the Orangethorpe Avenue roadway over the BNSF tracks to provide a grade-separated crossing. Summit’s scope of services included soil sample collection, characterization, and options for hazardous material disposal. Summit ultimately provided the  transportation and disposal for more than 200,000 tons of non-hazardous and California hazardous material.
