Case Study: Bayshore Bikeway

Summit Environmental provided services to help support the SANDAG Bayshore Bikeway Improvements for a continuous route around the bay, reducing parking and traffic congestion, and enriching the experience of cycling for the public.

The Problem:
Due to the proximity of the railroad to the bike path, the soil where the bike path was being built had been polluted with toxic levels of lead and arsenic.
