Fullerton Road Grade Separation – Industry, CA

 

 

Summit has been awarded both environmental consulting and contracting services for the 144 million dollar Fullerton Road Grade Project. The  project that will eliminate the existing at-grade crossing in the City of Industry crossing the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Los Angeles Subdivision and Metrolink (Riverside Line) at UPRR milepost (MP) 21.43. When completed, the project will eliminate delays for emergency responders, crossing collisions and as well as traffic congestion. Summits scope of work will include:

• Transportation & Disposal for both hazardous waste material and soil for beneficial reuse.
• Plan preparation & Training.
• Air monitoring & Site characterization.
• Report Preparation.

Removing contaminated soil and disposing of it properly prevents toxins from reaching any potential ground water supply and takes away all possibilities of the surrounding community being affected by it.
